Meet Serif

Serif is an award-winning literary marketing and PR agency working in Canada, the United States and beyond.

Exceptional Storytelling Matters
At Serif, we know what it takes for stories to flourish. We apply this in our work with publishers, literary prizes, book festivals, industry associations, bookstores, media companies, authors and storytellers.
We have a combined 50+ years’ experience in publishing and media industries, working both in- and out-of-house.
We blend specialized knowledge with verve, energy and commitment, building trusted relationships with our clients, who range from decades-long collaborators to experts in their field seeking essential strategic input.
Our company was founded on values of excellence, passion and community service, which we continue through annual donations to not-for-profits, paid writer residencies and workshops, and in-kind mentorship and support.
Part of our Shared Industry
We’re published authors, writers and poets; bibliophiles and book geeks; bookstore owners and literacy volunteers. Our team has worked as teachers, event planners, ghostwriters, literary agents, tour coordinators and editors (and much else besides), giving us a deep understanding of many facets of our industry and how they interconnect.
We are deeply committed to our community and the clients who are part of it. Here are the core members of our team.
